FIELD: medicine; pediatric dentistry.

SUBSTANCE: used for the prevention and treatment of initial dental caries in children from 0 years of age. The proposed method for producing dental gel involves preparing aqueous solutions of calcium salt, a salt containing phosphate ions, and a preservative, mixing them with hot aqueous solutions of carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) and, after cooling, with each other, as well as with a dye and flavoring agent. In this case, calcium gluconate, sodium hydrogen orthophosphate, and potassium sorbate are used as starting components; on their basis, aqueous solutions of calcium gluconate, sodium hydrogen orthophosphate and potassium sorbate are obtained so that in the finished gel product the calcium content is 0.5%, the phosphorus content is 2%, potassium sorbate content is 0.3%. Then the phosphate solution is mixed with a solution of potassium sorbate and then each of the solutions is mixed with equal volumes of hot 4% aqueous solutions of CMC, cooled, combined, adding a mixture of phosphate and sorbate to calcium, mixed well and a dye and flavoring based on propylene glycol from it is calculated that the dye content in the resulting mixture is 0.001–0.003%, the flavor content is 0.05%, and the pH of the finished gel is at 7.0±0.3.

EFFECT: production of a pH-neutral gel containing free calcium and phosphate ions involved in the mineralization of tooth enamel, which has organoleptic properties and shelf life acceptable for use in children from 0 years of age.
