SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of information security and can be used in the enterprise employees authentication to protect its perimeter and information resources from unauthorized access. Method of biometric authentication based on speech parameters and face geometry includes preliminary determination of a set of characteristics of a biometric image of a user, selecting said characteristics from voice records and photographs for users of the information system, recording biometric data into a biometric data base, comparing the biometric image of the user with his image in the biometric data base, wherein characteristics of the biometric image for voice recognition are formant characteristics, mel-cepstral and delta-cepstral coefficients of vowels and consonants, results of wavelet transformation of numbers and phrases pronounced by the user, and face geometry recognition is carried out by comparing the obtained data with data in a biometric data base by means of Viola-Jones methods and binary classification.
EFFECT: high efficiency of authenticating users in an enterprise information system.
