FIELD: contactless payments.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automated refueling for gas stations. This result is achieved due to the fact that the method for user authorization during refueling at a gas station includes pre-registration of the user’s biometric data, recognition of the photo received from the user, isolation of digital individual descriptors of the user’s face from it, the user profile containing his individual descriptors in the database are registered and associated with an existing account in the processing system, then the user, using the authorization terminal installed on the fuel dispenser of the gas station, initiates authorization in the remote biometric authorization system, for which, using the authorization terminal, a video file of the user’s face image with a duration of 5 seconds is recorded and the best frame is selected and individual face image descriptors are extracted from it, then matches in the database are checked, and if the result is negative, a corresponding message to the authorization terminal of the gas station is sent, and if the result is positive, they send a command to release fuel to the processing system, which debits the user’s funds.

EFFECT: creation of a method for contactless automatic payment for gas station refueling, which allows automatic payment and fuel release without the use of cash, bank cards, fuel cards, mobile or other technical devices by the user at the gas station.
