SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cleaning with tools, brushes and the like, as well as to devices for the manufacture, assembly or operation of circuit breaker panels or switchgears. Method for dry cleaning of live electrical installations, including connection of a dry cleaning device for live electrical installations to a retractor, at that, sampling of contaminants is carried out by air suction through a device for dry cleaning of electrical installations with a total length of at least three metres from plastic with a dielectric resistance of rod from 30 to 60 kV and with a dielectric resistance of an additional element from 70 to 90 kV, current-carrying parts of the electrical installation are cleaned through a nozzle for cleaning of the device for dry cleaning of electrical installations with dielectric resistance of 70 to 90 kV.

EFFECT: increased labour productivity due to reduction of number of non-productive operations and losses of time for preparation of network and electric equipment for repair, and then for commissioning at voltage in electric equipment of up to 90 kV.
