FIELD: cleaning with tools; public utilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cleaning with the help of tools, brushes, etc., as well as to devices for the manufacture, assembly or operation of switchboards or distribution devices. Method for wet cleaning of electrical installations under voltage, characterized by that using a device for cleaning electrical equipment with a total length of at least 1.5 meters from plastic with a dielectric resistance of rod from 35 kV to 60 kV and with a dielectric resistance of an additional element from 35 kV to 90 kV, inner cavities of which are filled with a dielectric material with a dielectric constant of not more than 0.8, current-carrying parts of an electrical installation are cleaned through a nozzle of a device for cleaning electrical installations with dielectric resistance from 35 kV to 90 kV with a wetted dielectric cleaner with a dielectric constant of not more than 0.8, swab with which current-carrying parts of electrical installation are wetted, thereafter, contaminants soaked by the dielectric cleaner are removed from the current-carrying parts of the electrical installation with a dry swab mounted on a device for cleaning live electrical installations.
EFFECT: providing uninterrupted supply of electric power to the consumer, improving the reliability of the power system operation, providing the possibility of performing the cleaning of transformer substations according to the plan without preliminary coordination with the consumer and excluding the failure of transformers due to insulation breakdown.
