FIELD: medicine; traumatology.
SUBSTANCE: immediately after the injury, the injured skin area is washed with laundry soap. A polyvinyl chloride moisture-resistant elastic tape is applied with a sticky inner layer on the injured skin area; on 3rd–4th day the tape is removed.
EFFECT: method is convenient, does not require complex manipulations; is available without involvement of third parties, allows to reduce time for isolation of damaged area from harmful effects of external environment; eliminate allergic reactions to alcohol-containing preparations; reducing the length of healing and the risk of suppuration, as well as multiple wound dressings due to the combined use of laundry soap and polyvinyl chloride tape.
