SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of flexible cable insulation used in extreme weather conditions in the Far North. Copolymer-based polymer composition contains the following components, wt.%: copolymer of ethylene and 1-octene POE LC 670 56.0–60.0, linear low-density polyethylene LLDPE PE UL 814 14.0–18.0, block copolymer styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene SEBS YH-503 12.0–18.0, calcium carbonate KM-2S 2.0–8.0, silicon dioxide Aerosil A-175 2.0–5.0, γ-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane 0.30–0.50, vinyl-trimethoxysilane 0.50–1.50, di-tert-butyl peroxide 0.30–0.80, peroxide benzoyl 0.20–0.40, pentaerythritol tetrakis-[3-[3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl]propionate 0.20, tris(2,4-di-tert-butylphenyl)phosphite 0.20, tin dibutyl dilaurate 0.15–0.25.
EFFECT: high frost resistance to minus 70 °C.
