FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to wire materials based on aluminium alloys used for fabrication of articles by surfacing and additive manufacturing. aluminium-based alloy for making articles by surfacing and additive manufacturing contains the following, wt.%: magnesium 2.8-6.2, scandium 0.1-0.35, zirconium 0.05-0.2, zinc 0.1-0.25, chrome 0.1-0.3, vanadium 0.01-0.15, titanium 0.01-0.1, strontium 0.003-0.08, lanthanum and/or cerium 0.02-0.25, aluminium and unavoidable impurities – the rest.
EFFECT: high physical and mechanical properties and low porosity of finished products obtained by hybrid-additive production methods using aluminium wire material.
