FIELD: medicine; transfusiology.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to assess the suitability of thrombocytes for use in treatment. Comparison of appearance of maximally spread and dried spots of 60% suspensions of three times washed in physiological solution and not washed thrombocytes of one patient is carried out, applied in amount of 0.02 ml on de-ash paper filters in the centers of stains spread on these filters with 0.02 ml of physiological solution. A physiological solution is strictly vertically applied on a paper filter in a volume sufficient to accommodate a platelet mass spot with volume of 0.04 ml, after that, an irregular spot of thrombocytes is obtained on cellulose with a diameter, location, distance between them from 2 to 15 mcm. Further, the thrombocyte stain is visually assessed and analyzed under a microscope. Then, thrombocyte stain is digitized with an office scanner to produce a digital thrombocyte stain. Analysis of color saturation is carried out by means of a computer program in the center and on the periphery. Quality indicators are evaluated by comparing the center with the periphery. If the ratio between the center of the thrombocyte spot and the periphery differs to 15%, the conclusion is made that thrombocytes are not suitable for use. If the ratio between the center of the thrombocyte spot and the periphery differs by more than 15%, a conclusion is made on the suitability of thrombocytes for use.

EFFECT: method provides the possibility of increasing the accuracy of the assessment and reliability in the study of the suitability of thrombocytes for use in treatment by comparing color saturation in the center and on the periphery of the dried platelet mass.
