SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio electronics and can be used to protect radio electronic equipment from ultrashort pulses. Such a result is ensured by the fact that the active and passive conductors of the modal filter are placed in round dielectric layers, wherein the passive conductor is solid, and the entire structure is placed into an outer round dielectric layer.

EFFECT: increased attenuation of the interfering pulse, matching with 50 Ohm path and simplifying the implementation of the device while maintaining the decomposition of the interfering pulse into a sequence of pulses of lower amplitude.
