FIELD: ships and other floating facilities.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to navigation in conditions of continuous ice cover, and namely to methods and structures allowing to clear ice from fairway for passage of ships, and is intended for periodically freezing water bodies. For fairway cleaning the vessel is used, which contains installed on it compressor, receiver, system of pipelines and gas supply regulator. Ahead of the vessel, in a submerged position below the ice, there are a bubble chamber and two side chambers made with possibility of movement in vertical and horizontal plane due to a hinge attached to the vessel, and with possibility of movement relative to each other by means of hinges installed between the chambers. At the top of the chambers in the wall there are holes for outlet of gases, on the sides above the chambers there are sheets which form, together with the chambers, containers closed from below and on the sides. Discs cutting ice from below and protruding above the sheets are installed in front of the chambers.

EFFECT: non-contact ice destruction is achieved, increased efficiency of clearing the fairway from ice by alternately creating zones of low pressure in water under the ice, where in one zone ice is broken, and in the other zone the broken ice is displaced under side ice, as well as use of gravity force of ice for its destruction and creation of water oscillations under ice, due to pulsation of zones of low pressure and change of location of zones.
