FIELD: computer engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an on-board device for conducting an examination for the right to drive vehicles. Device comprises a central processing module; a random-access memory module connected to the central processing module; wired communication module with peripheral components of the device, which contain chamber; module of permanent memory for storage of area map, route of examination and video recording from camera; navigation module; peripheral processing module for providing data exchange between the central processing module and the random access memory module on one side and the navigation module and the wire communication module on the other side; and a wireless communication module connected to the central processing module and configured to wirelessly transmit data from peripheral components of the device from the read-only memory module, including said video recording, and data on the process of the examination on a remote server, wherein a data bus connecting the central processing module and the peripheral processing module, a data bus connecting the central processing module and the read-only memory module, as well as the data bus connecting the central processing module and the wireless communication module are separate buses, which enables to qualitatively separate the data streams, in order to increase the resource utilization factor and avoid bus overload and data transmission delays.
