SUBSTANCE: plug valve comprises a valve body having an inlet and an outlet; a valve core disposed in the valve body and configured to adjust the degree of opening between the inlet opening and the outlet opening by means of rotation; valve stem connected to the valve core and configured to actuate the valve core; and a transmission switch for a plug valve, comprising a base, a rotation unit and a positioning structure, wherein the valve stem is connected to the rotation unit, wherein the gear selector further comprises an ignition switch rigidly connected to the base, wherein: the ignition switch housing and the base are integral; and/or ignition switch is located near the base; and/or recessed hole is formed between ignition switch and base, wherein the activation part of the ignition switch is located on the side of the ignition switch next to the recessed hole; and the gear selector further comprises a transmission rod extending through the recess, wherein one end of the transmission rod is configured to be connected to the valve stem, and the other end faces the drive part and is configured to activate the ignition switch when the valve stem is depressed.
