FIELD: measuring.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for detection of prohibited substances. Essence of the invention is that the detector of prohibited substances in the sample, which is a fingerprint of a person's hand on the sampling surface of the device, in conditions of mass passage of people through the controlled space, contains at least one sampling surface, heater, at least one sampling channel, at least one detector of vapours of prohibited substances, information processing unit, wherein the detector also comprises a pulse oximeter arranged with the possibility of measuring blood oxygenation in the finger applied to the sampling surface, with the possibility of transmitting the measurement result to the information processing unit, generating, in case of oxygenation compliance with permitted values, a command to analyse the sample for the presence of prohibited substances in it, according to the results of which, the information processing unit generates a command allowing passage through the controlled space, or a signal on detection of prohibited substances.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of increasing the reliability of the result of identifying the presence of a finger on the sampling surface of the detector.
