FIELD: cosmonautics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to space engineering and can be used for triaxial flow-free unloading of flywheels and gyrodynes independent of external physical fields. Unloading is performed by dropping the kinetic moment of the flywheels onto the ball rotor, which together with the flywheel rotors is placed in the vacuum housing. Ball rotor is retained in magnetic suspension between flywheels. Axes of rotation of flywheels intersect in point of centre of mass of ball rotor. On rotors of flywheels there installed are electromagnets generating their own and mating magnetic fields of the ball rotor. Interaction of magnetic fields inhibits flywheels. Prior to unloading the flywheels, programmed rotation is performed to the position at which the axes of rotation of the unloaded flywheels and the ball rotor coincide, and the kinetic moments are differently directed. To unload the gyroscopes, their kinetic moment is first reset to intermediate flywheels.
EFFECT: possibility of non-expenditure unloading in any orbits and in distant space; reducing duration of unloading and time of forced interruptions in operation.
