FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, namely to start-up of internal combustion engine of vehicles. Mobile starting device of ICE for automotive industry comprises crank (1) and has two-speed motor (5) and reduction gear (3) installed on bogie (9). Crank (1), engaged to ratchet (10) of the ICE crankshaft, is rotated by two-speed electric motor (5) through reduction gear (3) at first at low rotation speed – the first mode, which is two times less than the starting speed, and then in 3-5 minutes, when friction forces in ICE decrease, the second mode is performed at starting speed of rotation.

EFFECT: higher reliability of ICE starting in harsh climatic conditions.
