FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for automatic control of inhibitor supply to prevent hydrate formation in gas and gas condensate treatment systems. Method involves determination of calculated dependencies of content of methanol and water in gas, methanol in gas condensate, amount of gas condensate, change in the amount of gas through the results of the design study on the adapted design process model of the process, real-time calculation of the material balance for the inhibitor, water, gas and gas condensate with determination of amount of substances by points and phases, calculation of concentrations preventing formation of hydrates by points. These calculations are integrated into process ICS and used as initial data values from sensors of pressure, temperature, flow rate, inhibitor concentration on process flows. Optimum values of concentrations and amounts of the supplied inhibitor solution by injection points, other influencing parameters are determined by iterative selection with provision of hydrate formation on one side, and on the other side – reduction of methanol losses with commercial products.
EFFECT: reduction of total irrecoverable losses of inhibitor, elimination of emergency situations.
