FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for detection of micromagnetic particles in material of austenitic steels weld seam. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that the device for detecting micromagnetic particles in the material of the weld of steels of the austenitic class contains three permanent magnets, in which one of the poles is made in the form of a triangular prism, flat poles of permanent magnets are fixed on a flat ferromagnetic base, the first and third permanent magnets are located symmetrically relative to the second permanent magnet, wherein the magnetic axis of the second permanent magnet is opposite to the magnetic axes of the first and third permanent magnets, two magnetic field sensors, two protective magnetic shields. Detected micromagnetic particle is alternately magnetized in opposite directions, the signals containing the useful component and the noise are subtracted, thereby excluding the effect on the final induction result of residual magnetisation from external magnetic fields. When a certain threshold is exceeded, the device generates a signal indicating detection of a micromagnetic particle with residual magnetisation above a predetermined limit value.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of increasing selectivity of the device for detecting micromagnetic particles in the material of the weld of austenitic steels.
