SUBSTANCE: disclosed is gear component (10) for use in a translational steering drive, which includes first and second inclined gear bars (14, 16), including a plurality of teeth (20, 50), each of which has first and second engagement angles relative to central plane (48), which moves perpendicular to longitudinal direction of movement (34) of toothed component (10). Relative to at least 50 % of teeth (20, 50) from among several teeth (20, 50) the first engagement angles have the first single angular value, and the second engagement angles have the second single angular value, wherein said first angular magnitude corresponds to second angular magnitude relative to central plane (48). Present invention further includes a translational steering mechanism, methods of making a gear component and a turning mechanism.
EFFECT: balanced driving mode and economy during manufacture.
