SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for sealing oil and gas wellheads during their operation and repair. Disclosed is a ram preventer comprising upper and lower flanges, a housing equipped with a vertical circular axial channel, a lateral horizontal channel is symmetrically located relative to the axial channel, longitudinal axis of the lateral horizontal channel is located perpendicular to the axis of the vertical channel, in the lateral horizontal channel with the possibility of longitudinal movement there installed are ram units in which there are pipe rams equipped with elastic seals, as well as drives for control of pipe rams, including drive rods of pipe rams, steering wheels. Drives of control of pipe rams are equipped with reduction gears, besides, each of reduction gears is equipped with input and output shafts with bevel gears with straight teeth installed on them, at the same time angle between shafts is equal to 90°, and gear ratio is T = T2/T1 = 2, where T2 is the number of bevel teeth of the output shaft gear, T1 is the number of bevel teeth of the input shaft gear. In the preventer housing there are four threaded holes for rigid attachment of each of the reduction gears by means of centralizing bolts. Drive rods of drives for control of pipe rams are rigidly connected to input shafts of reduction gears. Outside, the reduction gears are rigidly connected to cardan adapters. Cardan adapters consist of internal and external squares connected to each other by internal and external hinges, fixed to each other by pins with possibility of rotation of internal squares and external squares of corresponding cardan adapters relative to each other at an angle of up to 60°. Internal squares of cardan adapters are rigidly connected to output shafts of reduction gears, and external squares of cardan adapters are connected to extensions with length from 5 to 10 metres. Extensions on free ends are equipped with steering wheels.
EFFECT: expansion of preventer functional capabilities and provision of guaranteed safety of well repair crew at high risk of oil-gas and water blowout at wellhead, as well as reduction of duration of wellhead sealing by preventer in case of oil-gas and water blowout.
