FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for removing icicles from a building roof. Method of removing icicles from roofs using flexible tubular containers (6), expanding under action of air injection and acting on hanging ice icicles, consists in the fact that flexible tubular containers (6) are attached to supporting cable (3), which is fixed on the roof, at that cable tension sensor (4) is attached to cable (3), which transmits a signal to control unit (8) of air pump (7).
EFFECT: reduction of energy and material costs for operation of the roof.
