FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for removing ice and icicles from the roofs of buildings and structures. A device is proposed for collapsing and recycling icicles, containing a light system for controlling the size of icicles, an electronic control unit, a carriage in the form of a pair of support wheels driven by a block-cable system from an electric motor for reversing movement of the device, limit switches, supporting carriage guides, and a cylindrical body, with an icicle disposer located around the perimeter in the form of an electric heater, insulated from the walls of the housing by dielectric material, an electromagnetic valve installed on the bottom of the housing to drain melt water into the drain and a funnel with a reflector installed on the housing, a float with a limit switch and an icicle collapser made of two symmetrically located halves, hingedly connected to each other and adapted for transition from a vertical position to a horizontal position and back.

EFFECT: increase in the operational reliability of the device and the quality of cleaning from snow cover, ice and icicles from the roof eaves of a building and their disposal.
