Sound energy absorber is made in the form of a prism, the bases of which are regular hexahedrons, or in the form of a cuboctahedron, where one of the rectangular faces of the prism or one of the triangular faces of the cuboctahedron are arranged on the side of the masked surface and with the possibility of gapless closure of the equatorial edges of adjacent absorbers when they are grouped on the masked surface.

EFFECT: improved sound-absorbing properties at low consumption of sound-absorbing material and ensuring integration of the absorber with a rejection filter.
