FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, in particular, transport engineering. The shield of the energy compartment contains a load-bearing shell made of dense polymer material and a sound-absorbing lining. The shell is made hollow, formed by the first (1), located on the side of the noise source, and the second (2), located at a distance from the first, shields, as well as peripheral walls and at least one partition located in the shell cavity, made to form resonator cameras. Each of the resonator chambers is provided with an inlet (4) located on one of the peripheral walls of the shell from among those forming this particular chamber, and, preferably, on its longitudinal geometric axis of symmetry. Each of the resonator chambers is equipped with a sound-absorbing lining, formed in the form of a panel containing a layer of porous sound-absorbing material and a layer of a protective sound-transparent film, where the layer of porous sound-absorbing material is made fixedly fixed on a correspondingly located section of one of the shell shields.
EFFECT: reducing acoustic noise.
