FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to laparoscopic surgery, and can be used for preoperative planning of laparoscopic adrenalectomy based on preoperative computed tomography. CT is performed with the patient lying on a his/her healthy side at angle of 90° to the surface of the operating table. A surgical plane is determined, an axis of the surgical action is drawn from a dorsal edge of a space-occupying adrenal gland perpendicular to the plane of the operative action, and an optical trocar installation point on the anterior abdominal wall is selected. If in the sagittal reconstruction of the computed tomography in the above position, the distance from the dorsal edge of the tumour to the anterior abdominal wall is 20 cm or more, the insertion point of the optical trocar is set along the midclavicular line in the hypochondrium on the side of the intervention, if less than 20 cm – along the midclavicular line in the lateral region on the side of intervention.

EFFECT: method provides higher ergonomics and quality of surgeon’s work and reduced rate of iatrogenic complications due to determination of optical trocar insertion point in a specific patient.
