FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water management and road construction and can be used in road construction to ensure water passage through the body of the roadbed. Water-conducting device under road embankment includes pipe installed on soil natural base with technogenic preparation from gravel-sand compacted backfill, backfilling of upper part of pipe, above soil of natural base, and film material in contact with backfill. Backfill is made of two layers: the first layer above the pipe is made of soil subject to thixotropic action, and the second layer of backfill is made of gravel-sand mixture not subject to thixotropic action. Between the layers along the pipe there is a damping plate with a width equal to the pipe diameter, with slope along the terrain. Along the edges of the damping plate, along its longitudinal axis, from below there is a film coating, with a slope from the pipe and with a length that provides overlapping of the edges of technogenic preparation on the natural base.
EFFECT: increased reliability of operation due to exclusion of thixotropic dilution of backfilling, as well as reduction of vertical loads acting on the pipe.
