FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water management and road construction and can be used in road construction to ensure water passage through the body of the roadbed. Water conducting structure under the road embankment contains a pipe installed on a natural soil base with a technogenic preparation from a gravel-sand compacted backfill, backfilling of the upper part of the pipe above the soil of the natural base and a film coating in contact with the backfill. Backfill is made of two layers: the first layer above the pipe is made of soil subject to thixotropic action, and the second layer of backfill is made of gravel-sand mixture not subject to thixotropic action. Between layers along the pipe there is a damping element consisting of stepped plates with overlapping along the line of contact, with width equal to diameter of the pipe, with slope along the terrain. Along the edges of the damping element, along its longitudinal axis, from below, there is a film coating with a slope from the pipe and with a length that provides overlapping of the edges of technogenic preparation on the natural base.
EFFECT: increased reliability of operation due to exclusion of thixotropic dilution of backfilling, as well as reduction of vertical loads acting on the pipe.
