FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a nozzle for a container for intranasal administration of a liquid formulation, in particular for intranasal administration of a nasal spray or nasal irrigation agent, and to a package containing such a nozzle. Nozzle for a container for intranasal administration of a liquid formulation, configured to be inserted into a nostril of a user, comprises a nozzle body with an upper end and a lower end, a channel passing through the nozzle body and ending with a hole in the upper end, and a nozzle cover covering the area of the nozzle body outer surface. Nozzle body is made from the first material, and the nozzle cover is made from the second material, where the specified first material is rigid plastic material, and the specified second material is elastoplastic material. Nozzle cover is not in contact with the hole. Nozzle inserted into the nostril tightly closes the nostril. Nozzle has a flow channel for the liquid composition, wherein the inner surface of the said flow channel is made only of the first material. Nozzle is made by two-component injection moulding. Said second material is a thermoplastic elastomer having Shore A hardness of 20 to 40. Above nozzle and container are contained in a package for a liquid formulation for intranasal administration.

EFFECT: task underlying the present invention is to provide a nozzle and package for intranasal administration of a liquid formulation, which is stable enough to fall into the nostril, and not bend, even when the person performing the introduction touches the area around the nostril, thus providing easier introduction into the nostril, but at the same time provides a feeling of a soft surface and delicate contact with the area inside the nose, nostrils and the area around the nostril, while remaining cost-effective.
