FIELD: pyrotechnics.

SUBSTANCE: pyrotechnic composition of acoustic radiation relates to pyrotechnics, namely to imitation pyrotechnic compositions used to create sound effects in cinema and for reconstruction of historical events. Pyrotechnic composition of acoustic radiation contains potassium perchlorate, potassium benzoate with specific surface area of 7,000-9,000 cm2/g and phenol-formaldehyde resin. As an additional oxidising agent it contains potassium nitrate. Part of the phenol-formaldehyde resin is in dry form, and part is in form of a solution in ethyl alcohol. Components are contained in the following ratio, wt.%: potassium perchlorate 58-66, potassium nitrate 7.5-14, potassium benzoate 20-28, dry phenol-formaldehyde resin 0.75-2.5, phenol-formaldehyde resin in the form of a solution in ethyl alcohol 0.75-2.5.

EFFECT: expansion of technical capabilities of safe application of pyrotechnic composition of acoustic radiation with provision of high level of sound pressure.
