FIELD: construction materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of mixtures for making construction gypsum articles, mainly boards. Mixture for production of gypsum boards, including, wt.pts.: gypsum 100; starch 1.0-1.5; synthetic fibre 0.25-0.3, as synthetic fibre contains chopped nylon fibre with diameter of 0.2 mm and length of 50-60 mm, thermally treated over fire to appearance of deformation in the form of crimp, twisting without melting of fibre. For the production of gypsum boards, the ready mixture is mixed with water and thoroughly stirred. Amount of water is selected experimentally to achieve normal density of mixture (diameter of cake spreading is 180±5 mm). Mixture is placed in moulds and left until hardening.
EFFECT: providing strength of gypsum boards due to formation of spatial reinforcing fibrous frame, regulation of gypsum hydration process.
