FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metrology, in particular to methods of determining deviations of surface location. Disclosed device is a laser pointer, the axis of the rigid cylindrical body of which is coaxial with the generated laser beam. Laser pointer has two rings encircling the body and either made integral with the body or fixed on the body. Version of the rings attachment to the housing provides either a fixed connection or the possibility of the rings movement relative to each other along the housing axis. There is a longitudinal mark on the cylindrical housing. Section perpendicular to the line passing along the circumference of each ring has a convex shape of a circular arc on the outer side of the ring.
EFFECT: high accuracy when determining deviation from parallelism of axes of holes in a part or assembly unit.
