SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of practical application in gas reduction systems at gas distribution stations (GDS), which include a gas reduction unit. Proposed is a reduction unit of a gas distribution station, comprising working (1) and standby (2) reduction line with inlet pneumatic-driven shut-off valves (3, 8) installed in series on each of them, working (4, 5) and standby (9, 10) gas pressure regulators, outlet pneumatic shut-off valves (7, 12), pulse gas line (13). Reduction unit additionally contains two devices for control of gas flow (6, 11), installed on working (1) and standby (2) reduction lines and connected by telemechanics lines (15) to dispatcher panel (16) of gas distribution station, filter-drier (14) installed on pulse gas line (13).

EFFECT: higher safety of gas distribution station reduction unit.
