FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: interactive teaching system has functional equipment mock-ups, parametre simulators, a system of telemechanical apparatus, a compressor section (CS) automated control system, an automated workstation (AWS) for the company dispatch operator and automated workstations for operators, connected by a high-efficiency data-transmission network and is characterised by that it also includes equipment for main and auxiliary objects of a main gas pipeline (MP), a compressed air system, emulators of the automated control system (ACS) of objects of the MP, automated workstations for students and a video monitoring system, AWS for the teacher which is fitted with firmware for controlling technological and educational processes and an interpreter for creating scenarios.
EFFECT: use of said interactive teaching system and method significantly increases efficiency and quality of teaching students by obtaining and processing service skills and using manufacturing equipment, controlling manufacturing processes in standard and non-standard modes of operation, teaching time is significantly shorter.
