SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, molecular genetic diagnostics. Disclosed is a method for genotyping a single nucleotide variant rs2269578 (G>C) of the human XBP1 gene by real-time polymerase chain reaction. Disclosed method is carried out using primers XBP1-F 5'-CCATCCGGAGTGACAGAATT-3', XBP1-R 5'-GGCGCACGAGATAAAATGTTG-3' and probes XBP1-G-allele-specific fluorescent-labelled probe 5'-FAM-AATTTAATTCCAAACCG-RTQ1-3', XBP1-C-allele-specific fluorescent-labelled probe 5'-ROX-AATTTAATTCCAAACCC-BHQ-3'.
EFFECT: invention allows to simplify human genotyping by alleles rs2269578-G and rs2269578-C of the XBP1 gene, to reduce analysis time.
