FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment, namely to devices for calculating magnetic heading in systems of autonomous orientation and navigation of mobile objects (MO). Essence of the disclosed method consists in the fact that the MO linear acceleration projection signals measured using the accelerometers and the angular velocity projection signals measured using the angular velocity sensors are transmitted to a discrete Wiener filter, by means of which components caused by uniformly accelerated movement of MO are suppressed, and the estimated linear acceleration values are generated, then the obtained estimated linear acceleration values and the Earth magnetic field vector projection signals are normalized, thereafter, the obtained normalized signals are used to determine the magnetic heading of the MO in the range of angles from zero to three hundred and sixty degrees.
EFFECT: high accuracy of calculating the magnetic heading of the MO and expanding the measurement range.
