FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics, and can be used for tendon-muscular plasty in diabetic foot syndrome, consists in transposition of tendon of anterior tibial muscle. Tendon of the short peroneal muscle is transected at 2–3 cm from the fixation point to the base of the V metatarsal bone. Proximal end of the latter is sutured with a non-absorbable suture and sutured with a tendon of the peroneal muscle. At the base of the V metatarsal bone, a hole is made through which a non-absorbable suture is passed through which a distal end of the tendon of the short peroneal muscle is sutured. Suture ends are brought out into the wound, the tendon of the anterior tibial muscle is dissected away from the fixation point and brought out into the wound by traction along the anterior surface of the shin at the level of the edge of the flexor retinaculum. Distal end of the tendon of the anterior tibial muscle is sutured with a non-absorbable suture and brought into the incisional wound on the outer surface of the foot. Ends of the tendon of the anterior tibial muscle and the distal portion of the tendon of the short peroneal muscle are fixed to each other.
EFFECT: method provides correction of varus deformity of foot with avoiding risk of complications, occurrence of which is typical for patients with diabetic foot syndrome, due to correction of biomechanics of distal segment of lower extremity and unloading of external plantar surface of foot.
