FIELD: construction of pipelines.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is the design of a steel pipe with a reinforcing composite coating, which includes a two-layer coating. First anticorrosion layer is made on the basis of polyethylene or polypropylene. Second coating layer is adhesively connected to the first layer and is made by spiral winding and thermal bonding of the composite tape. Tape includes a web of high-modulus fiber based on glass, basalt, para-aramid, carbon or combined fibers, impregnated with molten thermoplastic polymer. Web is formed by unwinding the fiber from the spools and pulling the fibers through the system of shafts, which fluff up the threads at bending. Formed web is impregnated with molten thermoplastic polymer at melt temperature from 100 to 250 °C, note here that second coating layer features thickness that corresponds to definite relationship.
EFFECT: wider range of used pipes for their coating with protective-reinforcing composite coating and materials of protective-reinforcing coating to obtain optimum guaranteed structural strength of the pipe, increasing bearing capacity, slowing down and stopping the propagation of cracks in the pipe body while avoiding excessive consumption of materials, time for manufacturing and repair; due to this, the pipe operation safety is increased.
