FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to antibacterial therapy, namely to means for the treatment of infectious diseases caused by multiply resistant bacteria. The invention can be used to treat mainly hospital-based, as well as severe and extremely severe infectious diseases. A remedy for the treatment of infectious diseases caused by multiple-resistant gram-negative bacteria is a mixture of cefepime and sulbactam at a ratio of 1:1, respectively. The above-described remedy is effective in severe hospital (nosocomial) infections caused by multiple-resistant gram-negative bacteria of the Enterobacteriaceae family of the genera Pseudomonas, Acinetobacter.
EFFECT: use of the drug significantly increases the effectiveness of the treatment of infectious diseases.
