FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agents for preventing hair loss on the head during chemotherapy due to its cooling. Apparatus comprises a helmet with channels for cooling liquid, a liquid cooler. In the liquid cooler there is a pump connected to the inlet end of the horizontally located spiral coil and connected to helmet by inlet flexible connection pipe for supply of coolant discharged from helmet to cooler. At that, inside the spiral coil there is a heat pipe, the finning of which is located outside the coil in the vertical through channel, to the lower part of which the outlet branch pipe of the vertically installed centrifugal fan is connected. Outlet flexible connecting pipe for supply of cooled liquid into the helmet is connected to the outlet end of the spiral coil, accumulator and power adapter are detachably connected to the lower part of the liquid cooler.

EFFECT: presented design of the head cooling apparatus has a relatively small weight and dimensions, is capable of operating from different power sources and enables the patients to move during the procedures.
