FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for prevention of hair loss on the head during chemotherapy due to its cooling by means of a helmet and can be used in medicine, in oncology. Claimed helmet for head cooling contains channels for cooling liquid, flexible connecting pipes, cooler, at that, in the upper part of the helmet, an ultrasonic sprayer is installed, which is connected through a flexible connecting pipe to the air compressor arranged in the cooler, wherein a pump is installed under the air compressor, container with coolant in contact with fluid container, wherein the pump is connected to the ultrasonic sprayer by means of an additional flexible connecting pipe, in the lower part of the helmet there is a liquid collector connected to the liquid container by a connecting pipe, and a coolant level sensor is installed in the ultrasonic sprayer, wherein compressor and pump can be connected to accumulator or mains.

EFFECT: disclosed head cooling helmet is a portable compact apparatus which prevents head hair loss during chemotherapy.
