SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. Device for cooling the head of a patient during chemotherapy comprises a helmet with channels for cooling liquid, flexible connecting pipes and a liquid cooler. Liquid cooler contains a housing in which a power element with an adapter is installed, a heat pipe, a casing, a fan and a liquid chamber with a pump. Liquid cooler is connected to the helmet channels by means of connecting pipes with the possibility of cooling liquid supply and discharge. One end of the heat pipe is provided with ribs representing congruent plates and is placed in a casing connected to the fan with the possibility of blowing the ribs. Other part of the heat pipe is located in the liquid chamber and is interconnected with flexible connecting pipes. Outer part of helmet is made with ribbing from elastic material. In the upper part of the housing there is a compartment for installation of reservoirs with coolant for additional cooling.

EFFECT: effective cooling of the patient's head, preventing hair loss during chemotherapy.
