SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an aerosol generation device. An aerosol generating device comprises: a housing having an opening for the introduction of an article for generating an aerosol, a cover positioned on the housing with possibility of movement and made with possibility of movement between the first and the second positions for opening or closing of the opening, guide located separately from opening and located on housing for direction of cover movement, and a resilient member connected to the cover and moving the cover by applying an resilient force to the cover when the cover reaches a threshold position between the first position and the second position. Resilient element is deformed in shape and provides a restoring force due to resilient force on the cover, when the cover is located so as to deviate from the first position and the second position.
EFFECT: possibility of semi-automatic movement of cover by sliding from threshold position into first position or second position under action of resilient force of resilient element.
