FIELD: enclosure and gate fittings.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protective devices of elements of fences or gates, in particular – to protective devices for gear rack of sliding gates. Device for protection of gear rack of sliding gate drive contains profile formed by two side walls and made with possibility of its attachment by one side wall to sliding gate, wherein the second side wall of the profile, free from fastening with the gate, is made with a longitudinal edge bent inside the profile with the possibility of creating a canopy over the gear rack, wherein between facing each other inner surfaces of bent longitudinal edge and its side wall longitudinal niche is formed, in which there is a distal end of the bracket, mounted with possibility of its proximal end attachment to the sliding gate.
EFFECT: creation of the sliding gate drive gear rack protection device, providing higher reliability of sliding gate drive and simplification of design.
