FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the manufacture of metal frames for sliding and hinged gates and wickets. A cold-rolled symmetrical profile element for a gate frame contains a shelf, two walls perpendicular to it, two bends perpendicular to the walls. At the same time, it additionally contains legs perpendicular to each bend, made by the profiling method, forming an open internal cavity of the profile element to enable placement of an insert in the form of a symmetrical profile element close to these legs.
EFFECT: saving metal, reducing labor intensity.
