FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cardiovascular surgery, and can be used to select a therapeutic approach to stenosis of coronary arteries in calcified lesions. Localization of the lesion is determined. Then, in each affected vessel, a segment of the lesion, the extent of the lesion, the degree of stenosis of the lumen, the depth of the calcified lesion, length of the calcined area, the presence of a bend in the affected area. Each indicator is scored. Derived points are summed up, the degree of calcification and further therapeutic approach are determined.
EFFECT: method enables to determine the surgical approach and minimize the risks of developing complications both in the postoperative and in the remote period, higher clinical effectiveness by determining the most significant values.
