SUBSTANCE: electromechanical drive comprises a housing assembled of two parts, an electric motor and a cylindrical gear reducer of n (n = 2, 3, etc.) shafts. Gear wheel of the electric motor shaft faces the side opposite to the output shaft of the electromechanical drive. First shaft of the reduction gear is made in the form of a clutch of limiting moment, the gear wheel of the first shaft of the reduction gear is rigidly fixed on the housing of the clutch of limiting moment, and the gear of the first shaft of the reduction gear is rigidly fixed on the shaft of the clutch. End wall of the second part of the housing is made stepped, the electric motor is fixed on the first stage closest to the end shield, and the bearing of the first shaft is installed in the second stage, which is the most distant from the end shield, at that the gear wheel of the first shaft of the reducer is placed between the first and the second stages of the end wall of the second part of the housing.

EFFECT: protection of electromechanical drive against overload of its shaft by load torque is provided.
