FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used as automation drives for aircraft and rocket equipment. Electric drive comprises assembled housing with bore in its first part and end shield closing its bore and second part of housing with electric motor fixed on it and cylindrical gear reducer of n (n = 3,4, etc.) shafts, the last of which is output shaft electric drive shaft. Feature of the invention is that the electric motor is located between the gear wheel of the output shaft, the inner cylindrical surface of the second part of the housing, the inner surface of the bore of the first part of the housing and the outer surface of the first shaft of the reduction gear, and axes of all shafts of the reduction gear, except for the first and output shafts, are located on the other side from the electric motor relative to the plane passing through the axes of the first and output shafts of the reduction gear. In the end shield there is a cutout, besides, the electric motor housing is covered by this cutout and the bore of the first part of the housing.
EFFECT: reduction of axial dimensions and weight of electric drive without increase of radial dimensions.
