WATERPROOF ROTARY MECHANISM Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC H01Q3/02

Abstract RU 2282920 C2

FIELD: mechanical engineering, possible use in composition of supporting-rotary devices of antennas, television cameras, locators and the like.

SUBSTANCE: waterproof rotary mechanism contains body of base and cover, output shaft mounted in the body, n (n=1,2,...) electric engines and reducer mounted inside the body. Base is made in form of cylinder, on ends of which recesses are made. On the end of first recess, the one closest to bottom, flange if formed, on which lid is mounted. In the second recess, shield connected to its bottom is mounted. In the lid, central through aperture is made for passage of output shaft, in which its bearing is installed. Reducer is positioned between shield and lid, while between shield and cylinder-shaped surface of second recess, immovable packing is positioned, while on cylinder-shaped wall of first recess m(m=3,4,...) closed grooves are made, forming m axial posts between one another.

EFFECT: increased manufacturability, decreased mass.
