FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery. During surgical intervention or postoperative drainage in the aspiration area, a stable pressure drop is provided by means of a passive inflow of gas or liquid into the aspiration area. That is ensured by using a cannula with an additional channel of gas or liquid inflow integrated into its internal volume. Vacuum effect is provided by the difference in the flow passage of the inflow channel and the aspiration channel, and the outlet opening of the inflow channel is located at a distance H from the inlet opening of the cannula. Following conditions are met: where S (D1) is the cross-sectional area of the aspiration channel in the cannula, S (D2) is the cross-sectional area of the inflow channel.
EFFECT: method enables providing a stable pressure drop in the aspiration area, a consistently high volumetric gas flow rate in the aspiration area, reduced probability of vacuum adhesion of biological tissues and higher efficiency of aspiration during surgical operations or postoperative drainage.
