SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. For aspiration of cortical masses during phacoemulsification, irrigation and aspiration tips are inserted into the anterior chamber of the eye. Next, the aspiration tip is brought into the capsular bag, enable the aspiration, capture and aspirate cortical masses through the aspiration hole. At the same time, to defragment the cortical masses, ultrasonic vibrations are delivered to the aspiration tip with a curved end part, on which the aspiration hole is made on the inner side of the bend of this part, and aspiration is carried out through an aspiration hole of a tapered form with a large base on the outer surface of the wall of the aspiration tip during ultrasonic action on the tip and during its movement in the anterior chamber of the eye.
EFFECT: group of inventions improves the safety and efficiency of aspiration of cortical masses during phacoemulsification by increasing the rate of aspiration.
